Musnad Ahmad 1153:1697

Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from Aisha, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, never struck a servant, nor a woman, nor did he strike anything with his hand, except when he was striving in the way of Allah."
