Hadith 1153:170
Abu Mu’awiyah and Ibn Numayr narrated to us—the meaning being the same—they said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Muslim, from Masruq, from ‘Aishah, who said: Two men entered upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he spoke harshly to them and cursed them. She said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, whoever receives good from you, these two have not received good from you." She said: He said, "Do you not know what I have covenanted with my Lord, the Almighty and Majestic?" He said: I said, "O Allah, any believer whom I have cursed, or whipped, or reviled, then make it for him a forgiveness, and a well-being, and such and such."
