Musnad of the truthful one, Aisha bint al-Siddiq (RA)

مسند الصديقة عائشة بنت الصديق رضي الله عنها

Hadith 1153:1730

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn ‘Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from ‘Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let not one of you say, 'My soul has become wicked' (khabuthat nafsi), but let him say, 'My soul has become nauseated' (laqisat nafsi)." Waki’ said: [It means] nausea (al-ghathayan).

حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا هشام بن عروة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " لا يقولن أحدكم خبثت نفسي، ولكن ليقل لقست نفسي " قال وكيع: الغثيان
