Musnad Ahmad 1153:1736

Waki’ narrated to us, Hisham ibn ‘Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from ‘Aishah, she said: The hadith of Ibn ‘Umar was mentioned to her: "That the deceased is punished by the weeping of the living." She said: "May Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman be forgiven, just as he made a mistake on the day of the well of Badr. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) only said: 'He is being punished, while his family is weeping over him,' meaning the disbeliever."
