Musnad Ahmad 1153:1758

Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha; and Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Aisha, she said: "I used to twist the garlands for the sacrificial animals (hady) of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he would send them away, while he remained among us in a state of being in a non-sacred state (halal)."
