Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to me, they said: Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from ‘Aishah, that Sawdah was a slow, heavy woman. She asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for permission to depart before his departure from Jam’ (Muzdalifah), and he gave her permission. ‘Aishah said: I wished that I had asked his permission.
