Musnad Ahmad 1153:1809

Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', that a woman entered upon 'Aishah, and there was a spear set up. She said: "What is this spear?" She said: "We kill the geckos with it." Then she narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that: "When Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, all the creatures began to extinguish it for him, except for the gecko, for it began to blow upon it."
