Musnad Ahmad 1153:1835

Hajjaj narrated to us, from Sharik, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would go out for the dawn prayer while his head was dripping from the ritual bath of major impurity (janabah), then he would complete his fast for that day."
