Musnad Ahmad 1153:1847

Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth ibn Sa’d informed us, he said: ‘Aqil ibn Khalid narrated to me, he said: Muhammad ibn Muslim said: I heard ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr saying: ‘Aishah, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), said: He returned to Khadijah with his heart trembling. He entered and said, "Wrap me! Wrap me!" So he was wrapped. When the fear left him, he said, "O Khadijah, I feared for myself a trial. I feared for myself a trial." Khadijah said, "Rejoice, for by Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You speak the truth, maintain ties of kinship, bear the burden (of the weak), host the guest, and assist in the calamities of truth." Then Khadijah took me to Waraqah ibn Nawfal ibn Asad, and he was a man who had become a Christian, an old blind man who read the Gospel in Arabic. Khadijah said to him, "O uncle, listen to your nephew." Waraqah said to him, "O my nephew, what do you see?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informed him of what he had seen of that. Waraqah said to him, "This is the Namus (the angel Gabriel) that descended upon Moses. I wish I were a young man in it (the time of your mission). I wish I were alive when your people drive you out." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Are they going to drive me out?" He said, "Yes. No man has ever brought the like of what you have brought except that he was met with hostility. And if your day reaches me, I will support you with a mighty support."
