Musnad Ahmad 1153:1857

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Al-Aswad, from Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, mentioned Safiyyah. She said: So we said: "She has menstruated." She said: So he said: "May she be barren and have a sore throat! I do not see her as anything but one who will detain us." She said: So we said: "O Messenger of Allah, she has already performed the Tawaf (circumambulation) on the Day of Sacrifice." He said: "Then no (it is not a problem). Let her depart."
