Musnad Ahmad 1153:1861

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Hajjaj narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) at night, then he would perform his ablution (wudu) for prayer, until he reached the morning, and he would not touch water.
