Hadith 1153:1870

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, who said: Hind came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, there was no tent on the face of the earth that I loved more for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, to humiliate than the people of your tent, and there is no tent on the face of the earth today whose people I love more for Allah to honor than the people of your tent." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "And likewise, by the One in Whose hand is my soul." Then she said: "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man, so is there any blame upon me if I spend on his family from his wealth without his permission?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "There is no blame upon you to spend on them according to what is reasonable."
