Musnad Ahmad 1153:1876

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, that 'Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas said to his brother Sa'd: "Do you know that the son of the slave-girl of Zam'ah is my son?" 'Aishah said: When the day of the Conquest came, Sa'd saw the boy, and he recognized him by his resemblance, and he embraced him to himself, and said: "My brother's son, by the Lord of the Ka'bah!" Then 'Abd ibn Zam'ah came and said: "Rather, he is my brother; he was born on my father's bed from his slave-girl." So they both went to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Sa'd said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is my brother's son; look at his resemblance to 'Utbah." 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw a resemblance, and people had not seen a resemblance clearer than it to 'Utbah. 'Abd ibn Zam'ah said: "O Messenger of Allah, rather he is my brother; he was born on my father's bed from his slave-girl." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The child is for the bed, and veil yourself from him, O Sawdah." 'Aishah said: By Allah, he never saw her until she died.
