Musnad Ahmad 1153:189

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, 'Asim narrated to us, from Tubalah bint Yazid al-'Abshamiyyah, from 'Aishah, who said: "We used to prepare *nabidh* (a drink made by soaking fruit in water) for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in a waterskin. We would take a handful of raisins or a handful of dates and cast it into the waterskin. Then we would pour water over it at night, and he would drink it during the day; or [we would pour it] during the day, and he would drink it at night."
