Musnad Ahmad 1153:1921

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let not one of you say, 'My soul has become wicked' (khabuthat nafsi), but let him say, 'My soul has become troubled' (laqisat nafsi)."
