Musnad Ahmad 1153:1933

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from 'Asim al-Ahwal, from Mu'adhah, who said: I asked 'Aisha and said: "What is the matter with the menstruating woman that she makes up the fast, but does not make up the prayer?" She said: "Are you a Haruriyyah?" I said: "I am not a Haruriyyah, but I am asking." She said: "That used to happen to us with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he would command the making up of the fast, and he would not command the making up of the prayer." Ma'mar said: And Ayyub informed me, from Abu Qilabah, from Mu'adhah, from 'Aisha, the like of it.
