Musnad Ahmad 1153:1950

Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Umawi narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, who said: I used to play with dolls during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. My female companions would come to me, and when they saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, they would hide from him. So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would send them to me so that they could play with me.
