Yazid narrated to us, 'Urwah Abu 'Abd Allah al-Bazzaz informed us, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Aishah, who said: "When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would perform ghusl (ritual bath) from janabah (major ritual impurity), he would begin by performing wudu (ablution) like his wudu for prayer. He would wash his private parts and his feet, and he would wipe his hand against the wall. Then he would pour water over himself. It is as if I can see the mark of his hand on the wall."
