Hadith 1153:2013
Yazid narrated to us, he said: Sadaqah ibn Musa informed us, he said: Abu ‘Imran al-Jawni narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Babnus, from ‘Aishah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The records (diwan) before Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, are three: a record that Allah does not care about at all, a record that Allah does not leave anything of, and a record that Allah does not forgive. As for the record that Allah does not forgive, it is associating partners with Allah (shirk). Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, said: 'Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him' [Al-Ma'idah: 72]. As for the record that Allah does not care about at all, it is the servant’s wronging of himself in what is between him and his Lord, such as a day of fasting he missed, or a prayer he neglected. For Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, forgives that and overlooks it if He wills. As for the record that Allah does not leave anything of, it is the servants wronging one another; retribution is inevitable."
