Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Dawud, from ‘Izrah, from Humayd ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from Sa‘d ibn Hisham, who said: ‘Aishah said: We had a curtain in which there were images of birds. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O ‘Aishah, move it, for whenever I see it, I am reminded of the world." And we had a velvet garment that we would wear. She said: Its markings were silk.
