Rawh narrated to us, Salih ibn Abi al-Akhdar narrated to us, he said: Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from Urwah, from Aisha, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to seek refuge in his prayer from debt and sin. A person said: "O Messenger of Allah, how often you seek refuge from debt!" He said: "Indeed, when a man is in debt, he speaks and lies, and he promises and breaks his promise."
