Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Umar ibn Abdullah ibn Urwah informed me that he heard Urwah and al-Qasim informing from Aisha, she said: "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with my hand with *dharirah* (a type of fragrant powder) for the Farewell Pilgrimage, for the state of being *halal* (non-sacralized) and for the state of *ihram* (sacralized): when he entered *ihram*, and when he threw the Jamrat al-Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice before he performed the circumambulation (*tawaf*) of the House."
