Rawh narrated to us, Salih bin Rustum narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, who said: Aisha said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me while I was at Sarif and I was weeping. He said: "What makes you weep, O Aisha?" She said: I said: The people are returning with two rites (Hajj and Umrah), while I am returning with one rite. He said: "And why is that?" I said: I have menstruated. He said: "That is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam; do what the pilgrim does." She said: So we arrived in Makkah, then we departed to Mina, then we departed to Arafat, then we stood with the people, then I stood at Jam' (Muzdalifah), then I threw the pebbles at the Jamrah on the Day of Sacrifice, then I threw the pebbles with the people during those days. She said: Then he departed until he camped at al-Hasbah. She said: By Allah, he did not camp there except for my sake—or Ibn Abi Mulaykah said regarding her: except for her sake. Then he sent for Abd al-Rahman and said: "Take her behind you until you take her out of the Haram." By Allah, he did not say: "Take her to al-Ji'ranah, nor to al-Tan'im, so that she may enter into Ihram for an Umrah." She said: So we set off, and the closest point of it to the Haram was al-Tan'im, so I entered into Ihram from there for an Umrah, then I came and went to the House (the Kaaba), and I performed Tawaf around it, and I performed Sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, then I came to him and he departed. Ibn Abi Mulaykah said: And Aisha used to do that thereafter.
