Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, he said: Usamah narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his mother Asma bint Abd al-Rahman, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived from a journey, and I had purchased a patterned cloth containing images, and I hung it over the alcove of my house. When he entered, he disliked what I had done and said: "Do you cover the walls, O Aisha?" So I pulled it down and cut it into two cushions. I have seen him reclining upon one of them, and it contained images.
