Hammad ibn Mas‘adah narrated to us—[‘Abdullah ibn Ahmad said]: Al-Qawariri narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa‘id narrated to us, from Ash‘ath, from Al-Hasan, from Sa‘d ibn Hisham, from ‘Aishah: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade Al-Tabattul (celibacy)." [‘Abdullah said]: My father narrated it to me, and he said: I did not hear it from Yahya.
