Musnad Ahmad 1153:2137

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, from Aisha: "That the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to sleep during the first part of the night and keep the last part of it alive [with worship]."
