Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, he said: I heard Harmalah al-Masri narrating from Abd al-Rahman ibn Shamasa al-Mahri, who said: I entered upon Aisha, and she said: "Who are you?" I said: "I am a man from the people of Egypt." He mentioned a story, and she said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: 'O Allah, whoever is entrusted with any of the affairs of my Ummah and is gentle with them, then be gentle with him; and whoever makes it difficult for them, then make it difficult for him.'"
