Musnad of the truthful one, Aisha bint al-Siddiq (RA)
مسند الصديقة عائشة بنت الصديق رضي الله عنها
Hadith 1153:222
Yahya and Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, who said: Yahya said: My father informed me, from Aisha, that Hind bint Utbah said: "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man, and he does not give me and my children what suffices us, except what I take from his wealth, and he does not know." He said: "Take what suffices you and your children according to what is customary."
حدثنا يحيى، ووكيع، عن هشام، عن أبيه، قال: يحيى قال: أخبرني أبي، عن عائشة، أن هند بنت عتبة قالت: يا رسول الله، إن أبا سفيان رجل شحيح، وإنه لا يعطيني وولدي ما يكفينا، إلا ما أخذت من ماله، وهو لا يعلم قال: " خذي ما يكفيك وولدك بالمعروف "
