Ubaydah ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Mansur ibn al-Mu'tamir, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we did not think of anything but Hajj. She said: When we arrived, they performed Tawaf, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Let whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him exit [the state of Ihram]." She said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had a sacrificial animal with him. She said: I was menstruating, so I could not perform Tawaf. When it was the night of al-Hasbah, I said: "O Messenger of Allah, your wives are returning with a Hajj and an Umrah, while I am returning with a Hajj?" He said to me: "Go with your brother Abd al-Rahman to al-Tan'im, then the meeting place between me and you will be such and such." She said: I met him at night while he was descending or ascending. She said: And the daughter of Huyayy [Safiyyah] said: "I do not see myself but as one who will detain you." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her: "May you be barren and have a sore throat! Do I not see myself but as one who will detain you? Did you not perform Tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice?" She said: "Yes." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her: "Then depart."
