Musnad Ahmad 1153:2300

Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from his father, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "There is no prophet who falls ill except that he is given the choice between the world and the Hereafter." She said: So when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, fell ill with the illness in which he passed away, a hoarseness took him, and I heard him saying: "{With those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor, among the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous}" [An-Nisa: 69]. She said: So I knew that he was being given the choice.
