Musnad Ahmad 1153:2315

Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: Ibn Akhi Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from his uncle, he said: Urwah ibn al-Zubayr informed me that Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed him that Aflah, the brother of Abu al-Qu'ays, came to her, and Abu al-Qu'ays had breastfed Aisha. He came to her seeking permission to enter upon her, but she refused to grant him permission until she mentioned that to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. She said: "O Messenger of God, Aflah, the brother of Abu al-Qu'ays, came seeking permission to enter upon me, so I did not grant him permission?" The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to her: "And what prevents you from granting permission to your paternal uncle?" I said: "O Messenger of God, it is not Abu al-Qu'ays who breastfed me; it was his wife who breastfed me." The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: "Grant him permission when he comes to you, for he is your paternal uncle."
