Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn 'Amr ibn Hazm narrated to me, from his wife, Fatimah bint Muhammad ibn 'Amarah, from 'Amrah bint 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'd ibn Zurarah, from 'Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, she said: "We did not know of the burial of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, until we heard the sound of the shovels in the middle of the night on the night of Wednesday." Muhammad said: Fatimah narrated this to me.
