Hadith 1153:2345
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, who said: None of their women were killed except for one woman. She said: By Allah, she was with me, talking with me, laughing openly and heartily, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was killing their men in the marketplace, when a caller called out her name: "Where is so-and-so?" She said: "I am here, by Allah." She said: I said: "Woe to you, what is the matter with you?" She said: "I am to be killed." She said: I said: "And why?" She said: "For an incident I committed." She said: So she was taken away, and her neck was struck. And 'Aishah used to say: By Allah, I will never forget my amazement at her good spirits and her frequent laughter, even though she knew that she was to be killed.
