Musnad Ahmad 1153:2386

I found in my father’s book: ‘Amir ibn Salih narrated to me, he said: Hisham ibn ‘Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from ‘Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Let not one of you say, ‘My soul has become wicked’ (khabuthat nafsi), but let him say, ‘My soul has become troubled’ (laqisat nafsi).”
