Hadith 1153:250

Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, who said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr ibn 'Ata' narrated to me, from Dhakwan, the freed slave of 'Aisha, from 'Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me with a captive, but I became distracted from him, and he left. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came and said: "What did the captive do?" I said: I became distracted from him with the women, so he left. He said: "What is the matter with you? May Allah cut off your hand, or your hands." He went out, and the people were alerted to him, so they sought him and brought him back. He entered upon me while I was turning my hands over. He said: "What is the matter with you? Have you gone mad?" I said: You invoked [a curse] against me, so I am turning my hands over, looking to see which of them will be cut off. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then raised his hands, stretching them out, and said: "O Allah, I am a human being; I get angry just as a human being gets angry. So, whichever believing man or believing woman I have invoked [a curse] against, make it a purification and a cleansing for him."
