Musnad Ahmad 1153:290

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha: "That she borrowed a necklace from Asma, and it was lost. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent men in search of it, and they found it. Then the prayer time overtook them, and they did not have water with them, so they prayed without ablution. They complained about that to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so Allah the Almighty revealed [the verse of] Tayammum." Usayd ibn Hudayr said to Aisha: "May Allah reward you with good, for by Allah, no matter that you dislike has ever befallen you, except that Allah the Almighty made in it good for you and for the Muslims."
