Musnad Ahmad 1153:338

Ibrahim ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Rabah, from Ma'mar, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained for six months thinking that he had approached [his wives] when he had not approached them. Then two angels came to him; one of them sat at his head and the other at his feet. One of them said to the other: "What is the matter with him?" The other replied: "He is bewitched." He asked: "Who bewitched him?" He replied: "Labid ibn al-A'sam." He asked: "In what?" He replied: "In a comb and the hair gathered upon it, inside the spathe of a male date palm, placed in the well of Dharwan under a rock." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) awoke from his sleep and said: "O 'Aishah, do you not see that Allah has informed me regarding that which I asked Him?" He went to the well, ordered that it be brought out, and it was brought out. He said: "This is the well that I was shown. By Allah, its water is like the infusion of henna, and its date palm tops are like the heads of devils." 'Aishah said: "Would you not..."—meaning that he should make it public. He said: "As for me, by Allah, Allah has cured me, and I dislike to stir up evil among the people because of it."
