Musnad Ahmad 1153:359

Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: 'Amr informed me that Bakr ibn Sawadah narrated to him, that Yazid ibn Abi Yazid narrated to him, from 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, from 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that a man recited this verse: "Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it" [An-Nisa: 123]. He said: "Are we to be recompensed for every deed we do? We are ruined then." This reached the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he said: "Yes, the believers are recompensed for it in the world, through a calamity in his body, in that which harms him."
