Yahya narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Abu al-Aswad, from 'Urwah and al-Qasim, from 'Aishah, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was not amazed by anything, nor was he amazed by anything of the world, except that there be in it one who possesses piety." *** 24404 - Al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Rijal narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah—and I heard it from al-Hakam—he said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Rijal narrated to us, he said: My father said: He mentioned it from his mother, 'Amrah, from 'Aishah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not harm his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest." *** 24405 - Al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Rijal narrated to us, my father said: He mentions it from his mother, from 'Aishah, who said: A woman entered upon the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, I and my son bought the fruit of so-and-so's property, and we counted it and gathered it. No, by the One who honored you with what He honored you with, we did not obtain anything from it, except something we ate in our bellies or fed to a needy person, hoping for the blessing. So we fell short in paying him, and we came to ask him to reduce what we fell short of, but he swore by Allah that he would not reduce anything for us." She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "He has sworn that he will not do good," three times. She said: That reached the owner of the fruit, so he came to him and said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, if you wish, I will reduce what they fell short of, and if you wish, [I will reduce] from the principal amount whatever you wish." So he reduced what they fell short of. Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: And I heard it myself from al-Hakam. *** 24406 - Al-Hakam narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Rijal narrated to us, and my father said: He mentions it from his mother, from 'Aishah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from the mosques of Allah, and let them go out without perfume." 'Aishah said: "And if he had seen their state today, he would have prevented them."
