Al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Nafi', from al-Qasim, from 'Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the companions of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them: 'Bring to life what you have created.'" *** 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us—Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: And I heard it myself from Ibn Abi Shaybah—he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from al-Hakam, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, that a beggar asked [for charity]. She said: So I ordered the servant, and she brought out something for him. She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her: "O 'Aishah, do not count [your charity], lest Allah count against you."
