Musnad Ahmad 1153:467

Mansur ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Layth narrated to us, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from ‘Amr, from al-Muttalib ibn Hantab, that ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amir sent to ‘Aishah provisions and clothing. She said to the messenger: "O my son, I do not accept anything from anyone." When he left, she said: "Bring him back to me." So they brought him back. She said: "I remembered something that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to me. He said: 'O ‘Aishah, whoever gives you a gift without you asking for it, then accept it, for it is only a provision that Allah has presented to you.'"
