Musnad Ahmad 1153:479

Muhammad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Aflah narrated to us, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Aisha, who said: "I twisted the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Then he put them on them, and he marked them, and then he directed them toward the House (the Kaaba). He remained in Medina, and nothing was forbidden to him that had been lawful for him."
