Musnad Ahmad 1153:486

Surayj narrated to us, he said: Fulayh narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad ibn ‘Abdullah and Salih ibn ‘Ajlan, from ‘Abbad ibn ‘Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, from ‘Aishah, that she ordered for the funeral of Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqas to be passed by her, so it was passed by her. It reached her that it had been said regarding that [i.e., people criticized her for it], so she said: "How quick the people are to speak! By Allah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not pray over Suhayl ibn Bayda’ except in the mosque."
