Hadith 1153:506
Hashim narrated to us, Ishaq bin Sa'id narrated to us, from his father, from 'Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon me while he was saying: "O 'Aisha, your people are the quickest of my nation to join me." She said: When he sat down, I said: "O Messenger of Allah, may Allah make me a ransom for you, you entered while you were saying words that frightened me." He said: "And what is that?" She said: "You claim that your people are the quickest of your nation to join you." He said: "Yes." She said: "And why is that?" He said: "Death will be made sweet for them, and their nation will be stingy towards them." She said: I said: "Then how will the people be after that, or at that time?" He said: "Like locusts; the strong among them will eat the weak among them, until the Hour is established upon them." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: "A man explained it: It is the grasshoppers that have not yet grown their wings."
