Hadith 1153:557

Bishr ibn Shu'ayb narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: Muhammad said: And Yahya ibn 'Urwah informed me that he heard 'Urwah saying: 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Some people asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about the soothsayers. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to them: "They are nothing." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, they sometimes tell us something that turns out to be true." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "That word of truth is snatched by the jinn, who then whispers it into the ear of his ally like the clucking of a hen, and they mix into it more than a hundred lies."
