Yunus narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, from Yahya, from Amrah, from Aisha, who said: "If the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had seen what the women have introduced, he would have forbidden them from the mosques, just as the Children of Israel forbade their women." I said to Amrah: "And did the Children of Israel forbid their women?" She said: "Yes."
