Musnad Ahmad 1153:598

Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Bakr ibn Mudar narrated to us, from Ibn al-Had, that Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad, the freed slave of Ibn 'Ayyash, narrated to him, from 'Arak ibn Malik, he said: I heard him narrating to 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, from 'Aishah, that she said: A poor woman came to me carrying two daughters of hers. I fed her three dates. She gave each one of them a date, and she raised a date to her mouth to eat it, but her two daughters asked her for food. So she split the date that she had intended to eat between them. She said: Her action amazed me, so I mentioned what she had done to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said: "Indeed, Allah the Almighty has made Paradise obligatory for her because of it, and has freed her from the Fire because of it."
