'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn 'Urwah narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, that 'Aisha said to him: "O son of my sister, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman—meaning Ibn 'Umar—his hearing erred. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) mentioned a man being punished in his grave for his deeds, while his family was weeping over him. And indeed, by Allah, no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another."
