Hadith 1153:633
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb narrated to us, Hisham ibn 'Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from 'Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was bewitched, until it would appear to him that he had done a thing, when he had not done it. Until one day, I saw him supplicating, then he said: "I felt that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has answered me regarding what I asked Him about." He said: "Two men came to me; one of them sat at my head, and the other at my feet. One of them said: 'What is the man's ailment?' The other said: 'He is bewitched.' He said: 'Who bewitched him?' He said: 'Labid ibn al-A'sam.' He said: 'In what?' He said: 'In a comb, the combings, and the spathe of a male date palm.' He said: 'Where is it?' He said: 'In Dhi Arwan.'" He said: So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) returned, he informed 'Aishah. He said: "It was as if its palm trees were the heads of devils, and its water was like the infusion of henna." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, will you not bring it out to the people?" He said: "As for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, He has healed me, and I feared that I would stir up evil among the people because of it."
