'Affan narrated to us, Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from 'Aishah, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked about *al-bit'*—and *al-bit'* is honey wine, and the people of Yemen used to drink it—so he said: "Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden."
